The main responsibilities of the position is to effectively analyze current freight pricing structure, while assisting sales, accounts receivable, billing and invoicing departments with daily and future freight market needs.
Essential Position
Responsibilities:
Evaluate and analyze current rate structure for customer base.
Review bid guidelines and prepare pricing data for customer bid packages.
Assist sales, billing and invoicing departments with daily functions.
Perform analyzing needs from sales, operations, and customer service departments.
Perform lead generation functions.
Perform other duties as assigned to meet company needs.
Required Skills and Abilities:
Computer knowledge Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Outlook and Excel and Zoom.
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
Education and
Experience:
Bachelor's degree required.
Analytical experience is a plus.
Inside sales is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer and phone.
