To participate in the receipt, storage, loading, unloading, inventory, and value-added packaging services.
Essential Position
Responsibilities:
Loading and unloading trailers Utilize inventory management system/scanners.
Assist in maintaining warehouse and related tools/equipment in a clean, safe, and orderly condition.
Safe operation of fork lift and manual pallet jack.
Other duties as assigned to meet business needs.
Required Skills and Abilities:
Forklift certification.
Perform basic mathematical skills.
Strong communication skills.
Ability to follow instructions and take direction.
Must be a self-starter and able to work independently.
Education and
Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous knowledge of inventory management systems/scanners.
Fork lift and manual pallet jack experience prefered.
Physical Requirements:
Due to the open environment of the warehouse, must be able to work in various weather and temperature conditions to include extreme heat, humidity, and cold.
Ability to lift heavy objects.
Bend/twist, climb, stoop/squat.
Regulary stand, walk, sit for extended periods of time.
